Step 1: Clean Up Old Version Environment

If you've used other crack patches before, it's essential to clean up the old configuration files before proceeding to avoid conflicts. We recommend uninstalling and reinstalling, or at least deleting the configuration files.

Windows System

Delete the configuration files in the following directory:

C:\Users\YourSystemUsername\AppData\Roaming\JetBrains

Mac System

Delete the configuration files in the following directory:

/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/JetBrains

Step 2: Install IntelliJ IDEA

Download and install IntelliJ IDEA from the official JetBrains website. All versions are compatible; we'll use IDEA 2025.2 as an example.

During installation, it's recommended to install on a non-system drive and check the option to create a desktop shortcut. After installation, do not run the program. Just click Finish.

If you've already launched it, close the software immediately before proceeding with the crack.

Step 3: Download and Extract the Crack Patch Package

Crack patch links tend to become invalid frequently.

After downloading and extracting the crack patch package, you'll see the following folder structure:

• scripts/: Contains crack scripts for different operating systems.
• vmoptions/: Contains the idea.vmoptions configuration file for JetBrains products.

Important Notes:

Move the crack patch to a secure location. Do not move or delete it after cracking!

The path to the crack patch must not contain Chinese characters! This is a common reason for cracking failures.

Step 4: Run the Crack Patch Script

Open the Scripts folder and execute the appropriate script for your operating system.

• Windows: Double-click install-current-user.vbs.
• Mac/Linux: Double-click install.sh.

When running the script, your antivirus may falsely flag it as malware. This is normal. Just click "Allow" or "Run anyway".

If you're concerned, you can open the script in a text editor to inspect it. It's completely safe!

If you see the following pop-up window, click Yes.

Taking Windows as an example: after double-clicking to run the script, a pop-up will appear. Click OK.

Then, please wait patiently for the script to complete. A pop-up showing success or done will appear, indicating successful execution.

Step 5: Obtain the Activation Code

After the patch is installed, you'll need to enter an activation code. Note that each JetBrains product has a different activation code. Make sure to use the one that matches the software you're activating.

Open the Activation_Code folder.

Since I'm activating IDEA, I'll double-click to open IntelliJ IDEA.txt. Select all and copy.

Step 6: Enter the Activation Code

Open IDEA and paste the activation code you just copied.

What if the activation code shows as invalid? If you're sure all previous steps were done correctly, simply restart your computer and try entering it again!

After restarting, paste the activation code again. Permanent activation successful!

Note: After successful activation, do not delete or move the crack patch folder, or the activation will become invalid.
